Flap Controls: If your build and workspace allow, consider waiting on final install of the skins till after the flap controls are shipped. They are currently planned to ship with the fuselage kit.
QB tank builders: Roll the aft edge of the QB fuel tank lower skin to match the curvature of the other skins BEFORE installing the flap cove skin. Not called out in KAI for QB builders.
Two paint sticks taped onto cove skin for support.Flap cove skin storage: W-15013-001 flap cove skin is very flimsy. Consider adding temporary stiffeners(aluminum or wood) across the slots before and during storage to prevent warping.

Leave the slot supports untrimmed until the skin is lying on the bottom of the wing ready to slip into place. Source

Flap cove skin (W-15013-001) installation: Requires 2 people. The middle track has a recess — the skin goes UNDER the middle track, not over. A close-clearance riveter is required for access.
The Middle-track fit is tight, just slide it in. Possible corrections if needed:
Enlarge the skin opening a few thousandths per side at the middle track.
watch the shop head on the INBOARD aileron bracket rivet that interferes with the cove skin — set it flatter or relieve the skin
Plan a double-flush rivet there very early

Edge pucker on the aft edge: The cove skins are thin and the AN470AD-3 rivets are thicker than the skin, so the skin deforms before the rivet upsets. Clamp both sides of the rivet, as close in as the squeezer allows. On the flap cove put in every cleco and clamp the aft edge flat before squeezing. Straighten the trailing edge afterwards by tweaking the cove skin's aft curve.
